Where do you bleed the clutch at on a 1997 jeep wrangler what is the location of it

This all depends if this is a hydraulic clutch or if its cable operated, you can only bleed hydraulic clutches, to bleed it you would bleed at the ******, you will see the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder that operates the clutch fork.

Changed clutch but unable to bleed the slave cylinder. Does that mean clutch master cylinder is bad? Got one from parts store but can't figure out how to take the clutch safty switch off to change it. Any...

Probably not. Bleeding clutch slave cylinders is tricky because you cant "pump it up". The master cylinder has no static valve so the best way to bleed the slave cyl. is to use gravity. Fill the master cylinder reservoir and open the bleed valve on the slave cyl. Allow fluid to drip into an open can until there's no trace of air. Close bleed valve and try clutch. If still no pedal, repeat the process. This is quite an acceptable procedure.

I just replaced my clutch and master clinder. and now my clutch pedal has no pressure. and how to bleed the line

The best way is by 'pressure bleeding'. Workshops have these as an every day tool, but you can do this by letting gravity do it for you. Fill the clutch resevoir right up, then open the bleed valve on the slave cylinder and let the fluid drip through until clear of all traces air, Close the bleed valve. Your clutch should work now. Do not touch the clutch pedal until the operation is completed.

Where is the bleed valve for clutch on a 1991 jeep wrangler

1. Fill master cylinder reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Raise and support vehicle. Attach bleeder hose to bleeder screw on bleed line of slave cylinder. See Fig. 1 (attached in link) . Place other end of hose in glass container 1/2 full of brake fluid. Loosen bleeder screw while holding bleeder screw fitting.

2. Have an assistant depress clutch pedal to the floor. Tighten bleeder screw and release clutch pedal. Repeat bleeding procedure until fluid entering container is free of bubbles. DO NOT allow reservoir to run out of fluid during bleeding. Refill clutch master cylinder reservoir.

CAUTION: DO NOT allow bleed line to bend or flex when loosening
bleeder screw.

04 chevy cavalier. clutch started sticking to the floor. loosing fluid but can`t see where?

replace and re bleed clutch accuating cylinder, hoses and resevoir. Possibly a leaking throw out bearing, See if leak is coming from underhood firewall (Drivers side) or from between where eng and trans meet. If leaking at eng trans its the throwout bearing

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/thomas_c50676e836a18949

How do I bleed hydraulic clutch in 1991 jeep wrangler

There is a bleeder on the drivers side of the transmission follow the tube from the clutch master cylinder if you cannot find it. Pump the clutch up and hold it down then open the bleeder repeat till air is gone. May have to bleed again after driving a bit. If you want to bleed the clutch master cylinder run a tube from where the line goes into the cylinder and take the cap off and run the tube into the fluid (make sure its in the fluid) then pump the clutch slowly until no air bubbles. I just replaced my clutch master cylinder this is where the information comes from hope it helps you out!
