If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that sells very very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime.

SOURCE: low coolent

sensor is in the coolant jug on right side of car. you will see a plug on bottom of tank this is sensor. A lot of times you can smack the jug a few times and this will jar the sensor it gets stuck sometimes. or pull off tank and clean out.

SOURCE: Ticking Noise in 01 Chevy Silverado 2500

if noise is higher pitched and coming in on valve time...(2wice for every revolution of motor..ie: faster)...then upper end pressure is down due to sludge, wear , lifter failure, valvespring failure, rocker stud lifting out of cylinder head (kinda common) cam bearings failing (very rare)..oil pump bypass stuck open..and a few other possibilities... respond and we will go over lower end sound (deeper ,slower) and see what identifies your issues .... miles

SOURCE: ticking noise and low oil pressure

DOES IT HAVE A LOT OF MILES ON IT OR MAY BE THE OIL PUMP IS IS GOING OUT? THERE IS A SPRING IN THE PUMP THAT IS A BYPASS FOR HOW HIGH PSI IT MAY HAVE BROKE THAT WILL GIVE YOU LOW PSI.

SOURCE: how do I connect tranny to radiator coolant lines monte carlo

The lower line off the transmission will connect to the lower radiator fitting and the upper transmission to the upper radiator.
Good luck.

SOURCE: 2001 chevy monte carlo is overheating when driving

Hi;
If your engine cools down when moving fast, you either have a problem with your water pump or your electric fans that cool off your radiator and a/c condenser. This is controlled by a temperature switch, but these fans should kick on instantly when A/C is selected.

Low Oil pressure gauge on 1998 Chevy S-10, with ticking coming from engine

check oil level and check oil pressure with a gauge not the one in the dash. if oil pressure is low then you may have a oil pump problem, or a worn cam causing poor oil pressure which will cause a ticking noise. it could also be worn lifters causing the ticking.

My 2006 Monte Carlo's low oil pressure turn engine off indicator comes on, on the dash. All apears normal. Happens only once and a while

mine's been doing this too. I pulled into a dealer when this happened and he was nice enough to check things out under hood a bit. Confirmed what I noticed...which was that there was no leaking oil and neither of us noticed any noises or unusual engine behavior. So he said he felt it is oil pressure sensor. Gonna check into one today.

Low oil pressure on 2006 chevy monte carlo.

Hi,
you do not state the figures for the low oil pressure. There are various reasons for low oil pressure in an engine.
One fact is correct, if you continue to use the vehicle with low oil pressure being developed, you will be looking at an engine replacement or full repair in the very near future.

Good luck.

Low oil light comes on but goes out after restart.. this started happening recently .. the oil lvl is fine ive checked it many times it only comes on after its sat overnight at the first start.. shut it...

In this case it is usually the low oil level sensor that is defective; however it could be an issue in that electrical circuit as well from the scenario you have given.

Air Bag light is on on my moms 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo

If your not familiar with air-bag systems don't touch it. If you make a mistake with your inspection and accidently set off the air-bag. It becomes a costly repair and/or could result in injury. special tools are used.

1998 chevy monte carlo ls 3.1 l , 6 cyl

That white cloud is caused by a blown head gasket, the knocking noise could be, a rod bearing, thrust bearing, somewhere in the valve train. Replace the head gasket and see if it still knocks, and change the oil and filter too. If it still knocks, than you have bigger problems.
