2004 chevy venture need to flush radiator looking for location of drain plug
If it has one it would be on the bottom of the radiator. Most cars and trucks today don't have a plug or valve.
You are expected to use a recycling machine to flush the coolant.
The plug is located on the left hand side of the radiator of the driver's side; however, you have to removed the plastic splash guard first to find it.

I First, you must remove the black air deflctor that runs underneath the radiator across the car. Maybe about 8 bolts. Even then I couldn't find the drain plug at first. It is on the driver's side. Beneath the radiator there is a heavy metal Mounting bracket. Almost looks like a crossmember. About an inch in from the left (driver's) side bottom of the bracket there is a large round hole with a rubber grommet. In the center of this hole it the outlet of the drain. If you reach directly above it on the back side of the radiator, i.e. come around back on the bracket and looking forward, you will find the drain ****. It is black plastic and has 2 ****, not a full petcock handle. It is still hard to see, even after removing the air deflector. The air deflector is the one people knock off by running too far forward when parking. I hope this helps .Remember the 2 or 3 vents at top of radiator hoses when refilling the system.
The radiator does have a hard to see drain plug on the left drivers' side. There are 5 10MM screws holding the air deflector on. The block has removable plugs, one 14MM hex next to the oil filter and one in about the same location on the other side of the block toward the firewall under the exhaust manifold.

It's located on the drivers side of the radiator opposite of the lower radiator hose. Note: you may be better off disconnecting the lower radiator hose, it's common for the drain plug to break or the O-rings to split causing more work to drain the radiator. That's why most tech's will drain the radiator from the lower radiator hose, less chance of breaking the radiator drain plug and most new cars now don't come with a drain plug to the radiator.

the easiest way that I've found is to just remove the upper, and lower radiator hoses from the engine. point the hoses downward, and spray thru the top hose with a garden hose, also spray down the radiator cap inlet. If the cap is crusty replace it, I also recommend removing the overflow and washing it out if needed. and yes the drain plug is hard to get to, plastic that likes to snap, and not worth messing with

It's on the driver's side end of the radiator. On my 2000 venture an allen key wrench has to be used to install and remove it. It doesn't have threads, so it's not tightened and loosened like a bolt. It has an o-ring on the end and is pushed in and turned clockwise to install and turned counter-clockwise and pulled out to remove. There is a steel pin sticking out of the side of it that slides into a slot to hold it into place. It's made of plastic, so be careful not to turn it too hard in either direction because it could easily snap off.
