When you turn the engine over nothing happens it even does not turn over there is a clicking noise under the glove box when you turn the key but only clicks onces sometimes there is a noise buzzing noise comming from the engine by the sounds of it relay witch is located next to the fuse box on the right hand side of the engine
SOURCE: there is a clicking noise

Hi Meadors,
The clicking sound you heard most likely the starter solenoid engaging the starter. Only in this case it's failing to engage the starter. This is a classic symptom of a low battery. Here's why.
In a perfect world, when you turn the key to start:
In our world, when you turn the key to start:
While a dead battery is the prime suspect, there can be other causes. Things to do:
Even new batteries can be bad off
the shelf. Especially if they have been on that shelf for a while. They
may show the voltage but not the amps. This is called a 'Surface
Charge'.
If you don't have a voltmeter, what you need to do now is visit
an auto parts store (not a shop). Most (in the hope of making a sale)
will provide free testing of batteries and charging systems.
What you need is called a "Load Test" on the battery.
It simulates the load of an engine being started. This will confirm the
battery is good or bad.
Then with the car running, they need to
check the voltage to the battery (they will know this). If it's not
above +13VDC, the alternator is bad or not connected correctly.
And if it doesn't start, what better place to be?
Let me know what they and you find out by commenting.
Best regards
Mike

sounds like the dampener gear shaft is trying to either open or close the vent and clicks b/c its stripped... turn the climate contol to the middle and turn it off...see what happens play with the controls back and forth from h ot to cold high to low and see if it gets worse or stopps or makes any diff at all if thats it, you can take out glovebox removes some screws/bolts and remove the gear or pull the lil plastic shaft out , however it will effect the the performace of the heater/cooling system. I would recomend taking it to a dealer/local yokal if you notice a change so that way you can still use it...let me know what you find

it sounds like your starter motor is faulty. first make sure the battery is fully charged, then place a screwdriver between the contacts of the solenoid on the starter motor, if it again just clicks, then you need to repair or replace the starter motor.
hope this helps

check the wiring connections from the battery to the solenoid to the starter. also check the ground from the engine to the chassis
