Try this If its for a radio thats 2002 or older you will need the radio serial number in order to obtain the radio code. to do this you will turn the ignition on and the radio off. then push the 1 and 6 buttion at the same time. while holdting the buttons turn the radio on and u should show a code that begins with a U or a L. Write all numbers down. then contact the honda dealer for the code to your audio system. If you already have the code....do the following. Turn your ignition to ACC or on to power on your radio. Enter the radio anti-theft code using the prest buttons at the botton of your radio. For example, if your anti-theft code is 55512, "You would press the 5 button three times, then the 1 button, then the 2 button. this will unlock and rest your honda radio.

2 solutions,
one: contact dealer and ask him to reset the lockout code.
two: go to www.radio-code.com and have your make model and year etc. and you'll get it there.

My battery in my 2006 honda accord went dead i got a jumpoff an got back in the car an turned the radio on in it's started talking about a code.

if you didnt set the code your kinda screwed. it's a anti-theft idea once battery is disconnected (dead) or radio removed, you have to renter the correct code to work radio.

2006 Honda Accord will not start and cannot lock car with the remote. worked fine 4 hours ago.

Start by removing the battery cables and giving them a good cleaning with a battery post cleaning tool. If it still will not start suspect the battery has shorted out and must be replaced, especially if the battery is the original battery that came in the vehicle. You can try hooking it up to a battery charger but if you see it will not take a charge it is bad. Remember when you disconnect the battery you will have to insert the 5 digit code to get the radio to work again. This very thing happened to me last month on my 04 Accord. Battery was good and 2 hours later it was bad. Replaced the battery and all is well.

2006 honda accord, after changing the battery. resetting the radio code. the radio will not pick up any stations???

Unless the Accord was jump started, creating possible power surge to damage radio, it should not of had any relationship to the radio.

But, just in case, would suggest disconnecting battery for 5 minutes, reconnecting battery, reentering radio code and see what happens.

If that fails, hopefully your under 36k miles or got the Factory extended warranty "Honda Care" Service plan, so take to the Honda Dealership to see what they say.

Resetting the navi and radio codes 2006 accord

The Owners Manual walks you through it step by step.

If your missing the manual, swing by your Dealerships Service Drive, most Service Advisors would be happy to show you how to do it.

You can also order a new Owners Book at www.helminc.com directly, even have it mailed to your home. If you order it at the dealership, they get it from the same place, mark it up and you have to go get it yourself.
