possible you have to reset antitheft mode ,is there a red light flashing when you turn key to on possion not starting it ? some will reset by putting key in drivers door and turning it open close 3 times look for lights to flash then try to start.

FIXED!!!!!

So I literally just had the same problem. I came out from church and my car would start. Everything seemed in order...it just wouldn't engage the starter. I tried everything until I went under the hood and began pulling fuses, it was the 20 amp 'horn stop' fuse was blown...I replaced it and immediately my alarm started going off...then blew the 20 amp I put in...replaced it with a 30amp and then disarmed with the key in the door...car started right up.

try unplugging your hood latch switch ...if you open you bonnet of your car you will see the latch .locate the wire comeing from your latch and follow it until you get to the connector. un plug the connector. if the alarm dosent sound any more that is your problem.

you need to have the fuel pressure checked at the engine and then check the line for flow

it could be the main power relay under dash

yes the starter is not getting the required pressure to start the car.as when you insert the key in ignition module the car gives command to the starter and car cranks and throw pressure to the alternater and that throws pressure with current to the sparkplugs and the spark comes and car gets started.as its the faulty wiring that gor misallighned and short circuited.as the wiring has to be checked at each point and that has to be cleared.also check out starter solenoid with starter .solenoid is located in the starter unit.

if the alarm is a factory alarm, sitch the key in the drivers side door and turn it both ways.
