Hello - My 2006 Jeep Commander is showing a Malfunction Indicator Light and ESP/TCS Indicator Light at the same time accompanied with the car shaking as I drive - typically as I accelerate on the highway. I have already had the oil changed/fluids flushed and had the spark plugs and coil replaced. Is it possible this was done incorrectly or does this indicate a more serious problem? Thanks for any advice.

Use an OBDII scanner, some auto parts stores will do this for you free of charge.
Codes P0300 through P0306 indicate mis-fire and you may also get codes reflecting Cat damage from running that way.
I know of one TL from this series (2000 3.2 TL) which had a warranty REPLACEMENT OF TRANSMISSION!!! free of charge and this very problem was solved. I still do not know why they were related. Talk to Acura customer relations about this.

Check under drivers door sill step. There is a spice I believe the wires are red or pink in color. The splice will be wrapped in black hockey tape looking stuff. Peel the the hockey tape stuff off and you will find that this splice is corroded and not making contact anymore. You can repair this splice and your problems will be fixed. Be sure to use some good heat shrink on your repair to prevent from happening again.

Sounds like your o2 sensors are screwed up. there are 2 o2 sensors on the 1.8t (one before the catalytic converter and one after). The computer on your car uses data from the sensors to adjust the fuel mixture for your car. It sounds like it's running too rich which can cause detonation inside the piston. This is VERY bad for your pistons. Take it in to the shop and get OEM o2 sensors. Don't buy anything aftermarket.

take the malfunction light bulb out ,if it runs ok then leave well alone
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS, MIL, CEL and BCM faults and others) as long as the light
is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic
diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code
that is stored for the problem(s)
