why take bumper off if your model was equipped for fog lights the wire plugs are already there as well the caps on the bumper should be screwed in place just go underneath and remove the caps and find the wires then put in a set of lights that fit in the hole or cut out the covers to fit your lights in saves a little of taking the bumper off
I drive a kia sorento and i have had a similar problem. I have a hitch on the back and the electrical connection was bad and kept blowing fuses. I removed the electrical hookup. Easy to do as it is a plug conected to the harness of your vehicle. Located underneath your vehicle just above the rear wheel well on the passenger side. Your fuse panel is located under the hood of your vehicle next to your battery. Remove fuses one by one and check for any that are blown. I hope this helps.
Check the fuse, and the fuse relay under the hood, make sure you check all fuse associate to the fog lights and tail lights as there are may be more then one fuse assigned to the lights. For the fog lights there is a switch mounted with your light headlight switch, make sure that is turned on too.
Ok Maybe it's going to help somebody, I find the problem. It's the Unit
DRL (Day Runing Light) control. Just have to unclip the little door on
the side of the dash, driver side, it's the little black box holding
with a nut right there. Dealer price.....$156.73. They charge 45
minutes to replace it but it take about 5, so do it yourself. Hoping
it's going to help.
