What's all need to install a aftermarket radio in a 05 Dodge caravan? Been awhile since I did it yrs before but the wife's van radio is going out CD player and radio itself

Radio, aftermarket radio kit(used to mount the radio), and an aftermarket wire plug. This plugs into the radio and your existing harness. Otherwise you have to cut and splice wires. I use a volt /ohm meter to cut and splice.

No power to radio in a dodge caravan 2008, checked fuse and looks good

My 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan lost all interior lights. No radio or door lock power. Iod fuse was good and so were connections. I removed my radio and checked the 12volt constant wires. Gray and pinkish red. Only 2volts. Ran a jumper frm battery to radio 12volt constant and tadaa. Got it all back. Been driving it with no problems since. Hope this helps someone else.

Factory stereo not working. Fuses are good; is ther a fuse in the stereo that may have blown and how do I get to it?

If your fuse is good then you may have a bad circuit board inside the radio itself. I see a few of these each year...sometimes the FM will work but not the AM, or the opposite, and often the display will keep working but you won't get any sound out of it at all. If you are SURE that you have power to it then I would contact a radio repair facility or try a different but simialar radio in its place. They usually aren't too expensive to have repaired if the board is indeed bad. Most of these didn't have a CD player so if your factory radio is bad you could also consider upgrading the radio with an aftermarket unit.

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.
