Try cleaning the battery cables with a cable end cleaner tool. You can buy the tool at any parts store, very cheap.

SOURCE: No headlights

I am not much of a mechanic any more ,but I do have some experince with electronics and for any circuit to operate battery has to flow to ground.Direct battery to ground will blow a fuse or melt your wiring if the fuse does not blow.If your parking lights stay on all the time then there is a complete path from battery to grd through the lights, and it sounds as though what ever is causing the problem on the parking lights is killing the path to your lamps relay.A wiring diagram may be available on the internt or library.Good luck.

SOURCE: 2003 VW Golf won't start - battery was charged

You need to charge your battery up more. Either get a battery charger or leave the jumper cables hooked up for a longer period of time.
Your battery was probably completely dead. You might even need a new battery...they really don't like to be completely drained.

My car shuts off when i turn headlights on

I have to be honest. It sounds like a bad ground. When you turn the lights on, the ground can no longer support the draw. Start by making sure the battery terminals are clean and tight. Next, check any wire from the ground cable to the body and the engine block to make sure they are clean and tight.

Let me know what you find.

Hello Ramon Gutierez,

Best thing to check would be the FACTORY DRAWINGS
for your electrical system... FREE (w/registration)
at BBB Industries... go to
BBB Industries Premium Alternators Starters Power Steering Products

Look in the middle of the page for TECHNICAL SERVICE
BULLETINS
(TSBs)... and Circuit Drawings...

Typically these are real manufacturer FACTORY
DRAWINGS... ( PROPRIETARY information hence
the need for their registration)

Hope this points you to the Relay or connector that is
bothering your safety...!!

Happy hunting.

My 05 civic headlights flicker only while im driving and the car has a jerking motion then after that the airbag light comes on, goes off then we start the circle again of all three issues

For the headlamp to flicker and airbag light comes on and off, this would be the same as if you turn the ignition on and off real fast, so the problem reside in the ignition switch making intermittent contact,

93 nissan pathfinder charging problems

check for voltage at the battery with the engine running. You should see 14 plus volts. Now turn on the lights, bower motor, and whatever else you can to put the maximum draw on the battery. If the voltage drops below 13 volts the alternator is bad.

It sounds like you have a short within your Headlight Switch.....It's kind of difficult to replace, because you have to disable the airbag system....But just take it to a shop an um quit sure they can do it with no problem......You can also try the relay first because its cheaper...But your problem may be your switch itself...Goodluck
