Sometimes you can get a screwdriver down into the latch were the cable hooks and prey the latch up as the cable would

SOURCE: rear right seat belt will not release

Spray with WD40 and try to unlock. If you need to access it, pull up the seat from between seat and backrest, it will pop out.

SOURCE: rear passenger seat belt stuck forward. any way

Probably not you can try to get it to pull back in by pulling on it but of course i am sure you have tried this. The belt will need to be replaced. If you would like contact me and i will get you a good deal on the belt and installation instructions if you are wanting to do the repair yourself.

Thanks,

Chris

HOW TO REPAIR RELEASE CABLE ON ANTARA REAR SEAT

Sound silly but here we go. Pull the side that works. Listen for the clicks at the latch release on the seat. With the seat down, look at how it releases. There is a lever that moves back and forth. That locks and unlocks around the latch or striker. Now try the side that doesn't work, If it's clicking at the latch the cable end may have come off. Find the same kind of lever on the bad seat, with a screwdriver it will release where the cable releases at the latch. I hope that helps. If you have to repair the cable, that's really self explanatory when you examine the system. Good Luck.

2012 caddy srx? I don't know if that is correct handle? As you can see, there is a cable attached to the handle. Maybe the cable broke? W/o being able to look at it, I'm going to have tough time trying to diagnose.

2004 3rd row rear seat won't fold down using lever

Cable is broken or stretched. pick up the bottom seat and see the cable end if broken or slack from being stretched pull that cable and then the back should fold down. Ibelieve you will need to remove seat to repair the cable. the bottom seat when lifted pulls on a cable that releases the backs lock to fold down

Rear Seat on C Class coupe will not release think I ned to take the seat backing off to look at the mechanism

i beleive the release handles are in the trunk. Unless the release handle broke or cable is broken it is probably out of adjustment. Try having someone lean into the seat backrest and then pull release handle. I'm assuming your talking about your backrest release. If you are refering to the seat cushion-they can be tough but try putting some weight down on the cushion and then try pulling the release handle at each side of the seat.
