Hello, i have a 1997 chevy silverado 1500, 4x4, 350 vortech, i have replaced fuel pump, plug wires, plugs, distributer, cap, rotor, filter, fuel pump ,relay, idle air control valve, coil. rechecked ground and the fuel pump sill is not coming on
Before you drop tank again, check fuses & relay.then disconnect fuel line @ filter turn key to on position should hear fuel pump run and get gas stream out of line. if no flow from line new pump faulty be sure & remove negative battery cable first good luck.
Get a wiring diagram & ck. power . may be a fuel pump relay ?

is there voltage at the pump? does the relay engage?
Replaced fuel lines and filter on a 2003 chevy silverado but it starts to leak fuel from a little black valve along the top of the frame rail
For wheel works but will not turn on due to ground wire problem. Can't find the wire
Did you check the ground-to-frame at the fuel tank? Even though it's new it could be bad and did you check the fuel pump relay in the fuse box under the hood
