Head comes off what ??? And what plastic clips ??? Give more of a question we need to know what it is you are trying to do, fix, If at all you've removed a cylinder head from your vehicle and it has plastic type dowels to hold it in place you can change these dowels for steel ones before putting the head back on
If you unbolt the sunvisors the headliner comes down and towards you out of small retainer clips similar to the plastic cover in the center of the weathertripping in the back hatch that you have to remove to get full access to the battery. You can pull it down far enough to access the antenna and LED light (or sunroof controls if you have them) without completely removing it.
I have a 96 Honda Civic and my clip broke. Finally got a new one and could figure it out. Finally did. Rotate the visor out of the way. Rotate the clip 90 degrees CCW. Gently pry down on the clip and remove. Installation of the new clip is opposite the removal.
you need to replace glass or is it leaking if leaking then you have to remove upper seat belt covers pop off remove bolt 14mm and the trims on upper pillars pry off carefully held in by clips remove covers on interior light at front where sunroof switches are there are screws by bulbs disconnect connector remove center light cover and screws disconnect connector with clean hands remove rbber trim around sunroof opening and plastic cover on each side of sunroof glass held on with plastic screw clips then remove four 10mm nuts lift sunroof glass out of car remove cover and screws from rearview mirror all plastic trims around headliner move pass seat forward most and flip back rest all way down roll pass window fully down then slide headliner out of car now you can remove electrical connectors and remove water flow hoses from sunroof unit remove 8 12mm nuts holding frame to roof remove through door you will see the track sunroof slides on remove nuts along problem is silicone between track and frame is deteriorated lift track clean replace silicone reattach frame to roof dont put trims or liner in till test connect switches and glass to frame make sure sunroof works and closes fully then go through car wash to see if leak is fixed
Its the window regulator thats broke. Most are made with plastic brackets and cable. The plastic breaks and the cable goes nuts then nothing is holding the window. You need to get a regulator, if you can take the door panel off you should be able to handle installing the window regulator.
The top can be used as a sunroof or taken off completely. For the sunroof, you only have to unclip the two clips by each sun visor, and fold the front bow back so it sits on top of the roll bar. There is a velcro strip that goes through a hole in the front bow, to keep it in place. To totally take the top off, you again uncleip the 2 clips by the sun visor. When the front bow is moved partway back, the material on the front bow is loose. There are sliding clips on the front of the convertible top that are slid along the front bow, so that the material is removed from the bow itself. Along each of the doors is an elastic clip that needs to be removed. Now the front of the top is pretty loose. Around the rear windows is a metal bar, with fabric snapped around it. Undo the snaps. Then forcefully push the metal bar outwards. The material around the rear window area can then be removed from around the metal bar. At this point, you can probably unzip the rear window. There are 2 pieces of plastic that slide into plastic grooves at the very rear of each corner of the car, that hold the rear of the top down. You just pull the rear of the fabric away from the rear corner of the car. And that's it.
My sunroof was leaking as well, and you can take the sunroof out. You have to remove the head liner. To do that you have to take off the handles on the liner and the lights and that computer in the front where the sunroof switch is. To take that off you have to take out the one screw and there are two clips holding it up. just pull it down and out of the clips. The light in the middle has two screws behind the plastic for the light. you take off the plastic and then unscrew it and pull it off. you also need to take off those two plastic clips in the back, those just pull out. Once the head liner is out you can unhook the wires to the sunroof. You will need to unscrew the black frame that supports the computer in the front where the sunroof switch is at. Then you can take off all the nuts around the sunroof frame and the sunroof will come right down. I would recommend help when you are ready to take the sunroof down. It does weight a lot.
For the radio, I have the infitiy gold system and that comes with an amplifier from factory. That amp sits underneath the left rear passenger seat. In my vehicle that amp got ruined from the leaking water and so i have no sound from the radio. The radio still works, i can tell because it will play cd's and seek and tune on radio stations, just no sound. So your radio may just be from an amp if thats the system you have.
I dont know anything aobut the sad board, what i've said is what i've had problems with and im just sharing what i learned.
The sunshade clips are probably broken. Need to remove the glass panel. Note the position of the panel the frt and the rear. If not properly reinstalled you might get wind noise. Once you have the panel removed unscrew the clips from the sunshade. Carefully remove the shade and install the new clips.
