My sat nav played up in the really hot weather then again when really cold now it's just dead DVD reader error. Bought a DVD cleaner but won't play or read it so no good what is next step ?

your best possible solution is to take it to the dealer they most like ly will have to download a programing patch to repair the problem.

ok error code 1, look for this error code on your owners manual, toyota cd players give 3 error codes, this mean error code 1, error code 2, and error code 3, they all have different meaning please check owners manuel to see what does error 1 mean i will try looking for you

If you've purchased a new navigation disc and it won't read it, you will probably need to get a firmware update for your navigation unit. If it won't read an old disc, check the disc for smudge marks or scratches. Clean it and retry. If it still don't work you can try a cleaner that you can get at Radio Shack or similar store.
