My Volvo c30 cuts out if I accelerate to much in gear before changing it is a diesel

there is probably an over rev stopper in the system that is intended to stop engine destruction
It is poor driving practice to put the engine in this situation as it stresses the engine unnecessarily and really achieves nothing
diesel engine have a set torque range and under or over that range produces nothing in the terms of power and gear changing should be best kept to that range
If the transmission will not change gears at around 2500 rpms then have the fault codes read as there may be a problem electronically.

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra Z71 Automatic . transmission would not shift properly. no bangs or clunks coming from transmission. changed transmission filter, changed VSS checked all fuses, and for vacume leak...

nothing wrong with the transmission that a proper fault code reading will not fix
it is sensor and pressure related and the fault codes will tell you which are faulty probably a TCM fault or wiring and connections

1998 jimmy 4wd wont shift into 3rd gear 1st two gears are fine up and down shifting.

Fault in the gear box . This can be due to failure of the linkages, the shifters , the counter wheels or gears.
A fault in the gear box can be speculative and so unless the gear box is opened this cannot be confirmed.
You will need to decide if the job can be done with the tools and facility you have within your limits.

I have an intermittent fault on my range rover hse 2006 automatic, seems to miss a gear revs then surges into the gear change, sometimes the dashboard warning reads transmission fault, limited gears...

It could very well be the gear box. Before I read that part of your question I was leaning that way. It could also be a malfunctioning computer chip. I would find another garage that will diagnose the problem independently. Just tell them the problem don't say you had another garage look at it already. If they have the same result go with the lower bid or ask if they can be the lower bid. If they are different diagnosis you may want a third opinion. Of course this is assuming that each diagnosis is free. Good luck.

You have a failed component in the transmisssion, have it tested for a potential fault code.

95 accord wont move forward

check out is it properly going in gear .the gears must not be getting engaged.if the gears are properly moving /engaging then its a transmisson problem.it has to be checked a fluid level in it has to be checked.
get the codes checked at the car diagnosis center to confirm the fault. as it will lead to exact fault before going for replacing any other part.
at www.autozone.com its free for getting car diagnosed and checking codes.
