You have a dimmer switch for those lights. That would be the next thing to check. Try operating the switch to see if anything happens.

SOURCE: 1990 Totota Celica manual door lock will not unlock

wow, sounds like fin. but you actually can take apart the door inside the car. it would be a b#$%(, but i'm not sure you have a choice. unscrew the handle in the appropriate places, remove plugs if you have to. the door is in with clips. you can remove the door cover by prying it away slowly with a long screw driver or nail bar. be careful, but also use force, it isn't easy and you might stop b/c you're afraid of breaking something, it sounds bad when they pop too, you might break the clips or the door panel, but that's the way of the world.

once you remove the door panel it will likely be obvious what the problem is. has the car ever been in a accident? have you shut the door on the belt alot?

hope this helps.

SOURCE: Engine Transmission Light coming on intermittently

low pressure in the tranny, did you check the oil level in park? if so you might have to check it in gear with someone holding it on the brakes, then re-check... hopefully it isn;t the pressure solenoid.... $$$$$$.... they can be expensive, cheers!

Hi, I have a toyota celica 1994. The yellow warning light (picture of a car with exhust flowing out) has come up. I don't have the user manual, so don't know what it means. Thanks

Does this light blink at all ? count the blinks. Sometimes it will blink three times, then pause then blink twice etc. Some variation of that? blinks once, then pause then twice. The first example is code 32, the second is code 12. These codes are in my manual, but you have to count them for me. Oh, by the way, is this a celica with the 2.2L 5sfe engine?

1989 Celica GT Convertible Replaced ecu, ignitor, distributor assy, wires, and plugs. Runs great, but intermittently will shut off (no spark) at a light when in drive (cranks, won't start). Battery is...

something is heating up it could be the ignition relay or a bad ignition switch. relay can over heat and stop working this would take some time to cool down again, ignition can do the same some times you can feel the heat on the key when removed.
