My hyundai elantra 2002 is making a sound coming from under the car like as if something is loose but cant find what it is.. the sound comes from under the passangers seat next to the driver.
Need more info.
Does it do it in gear, in park?
Is it constant?
Try checking the heat shield at the catalytic converter. These sometimes come loose and make a rattling noise when the engine is running.
It could be any number of things, I suggest checking underneath the passengerside to see if anything is loose. Jack up the front end so the tires are off the ground and try to wiggle the tire and other parts. It could be a bearing...
This is probably the heat shield. The shield is a metal plate between exhaust and car. You can put self tapping screws in it or Have a shop repair it.

thank you will look into it... it does it when the engine is on..
I took the tires off and checked under... i dont think its the catalytic converter because everything is in place.. coul it somehow be the shocks? maybe too rusty or something by the tire?
