Installed aftermarket radio in a 2005 dodge stratus, the gauge needles drop and the warning lights come on when I turn it on

I installed a Sony receiver in place of the stock radio in my 2005 Dodge Stratus. The radio gets power and everything appears normal, until you turn ON the radio. Then all the gauge needles flatline and the warning lights in the gauge cluster turn on with "no bus" under the odometer. Why would the gauge cluster be wired into the stereo?

2005 dodge stratus traction control light is popping on and the radio shuts off and on when this happens, what is wrong?

You probably have a cold (bad) solder joint in the dash compartment that also control the radio.

Why battery gauge needle drops and check gauges light comes on - system not charging

warn bushes in the alternator, when the alternator warms up the bushes will come away from the pole, in turn turns the power off, just means the bushes are so warn down they heat up and the springs shrink back in and when it cools down again the bushes are connecting again till it heats up again.
