PART NUMBER INFORMATION
*******************************************************************
The part number is: 27761-70T03 Module Assy-Pow
It is officially called an AC Blower Amplifier.

It cost me $153.32 + tax (not concerned about getting the best price since having the fan on high all the time drove my wife nuts for the two days it was acting up!)

One other suggestion... you're gonna have to take apart the glovebox door and compartment behind it (easy enough). While back there, change out the cabin filter (another Nissan item) since you will have everything apart anyway. Kill two birds with one stone. That thing (if equipped, gets really nasty).

SOURCE: speedometer works sometimes goes to

With the sensor replacement it is confirmed that the input signals are not the issue and the fault lies around the main processing of the sensor.
The sensor 's pulses are processed by an OP-AMP inside the dash unit. It is possible that the cluster connections in dash connectors has a fault, a possible dry soldering, bad joint in the circuit of the signal procesing unit.
It is important we need to remove for testing but if a similar pulse can be applied-to the speedo unit , it must work.
This may confirm the issue but you have to decide whether to remove and test the unit or to try for a possible trial replacement from the Nissan repair shop closer to you.
Once confirmed the unit canbe replaced but to make sure that loose joints also are a threat in such intermittent faults, we need to confirm for sure.
I hope this tip help.

Sounds like the Blower Motor Resistor. The range from 10 to 75 dollars depending on what kind of vehicle. Pretty easy to change.

Fan for heat turns on and off and sometimes stays off

If it comes and goes on all speeds, I would say its probably the blower motor. You would check for power and ground at the blower motor when it stops running.
If its only on one speed, it may be the blower resistor.

My AC fan is on the fritz.

When you turn the ac on the engine should speed up to cover the extra load of the compressor.
The problem with the blower could be the blower motor, the resistor, or the blower relay.

Ac fan speed control sometimes only works on position 5 ,sometimes all speeds work and sometimes will not work at all. replaced fan blower resistor today , still have same problem

The blower motor may be bad, or possibly the fan speed switch. May very well be the circuit breaker for the blower as well. The blower connector may be loose. Let me know what you find.

01 grand.prix ac fan switch only works on high. has a duel temp controller when you turn fan off the only way fan comes back on is to move the temp controller levers

Hi!!
When the Blower Motor Resistor (controls blower speeds) goes bad, the blower motor works only on HIGH SPEED. REPLACE IT.
BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR Removal & Installation
  • Disconnect negative battery cable.
  • Remove right lower instrument panel insulator panel.
  • Disconnect blower resistor connector located behind right side of dash.
  • Remove blower resistor screws and blower resistor.
To install, reverse removal procedure
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa!!

Every time i turn my heater or air condioner on it makes a ticking sound then it goes away after a few seconds it sounds like it coming from the inside by the glove box or right below it

Sometimes leaves or debris collect inside the blower motor case Also if the vehicle has alot of miles and the noise changes tones when changing blower motor speeds the motor may be failing or in need of lubrication. First i would check and clean the blower motor case of debris or leaves. This requires removing nthe blower motor and looking in the housing. Good Luck and I Hope this was very helpful.

2002 Honda Odyssey fan only works at high speed. The A/C compress

Usually when the blower fan only operates on hi speed, its because of a failed blower motor resistor. You still have hi speed because on hi, the power going to the blower motor goes directly to it, as opposed to the lower speeds, when the power is routed through the resistor, thus lowering the voltage, which in turn lowers the speed of the fan. The resistor is usually located near the blower motor itself, under the hood back near the firewall.
