White Smoke Coming from Engine?

It sounds like you need a good mechanic to fix your oil leaks. It's probably the valve cover gasket leaking oil on the cylinder head and it's running down on the hot exhaust manifold.

White smoke out of exhaust

Regarding 2001 audi a6 quattro 2.7t....i was driving to work the car was fine then white smoke starting coming from under the hood and tail pipe. i stopped veilce and alot of oil was dripping from front of car. I towed it home and i looked under the hood and there was oil from valve cover gasket. i let the car sit for a few days, had it running again for a good hour and no white smoke was coming out. I removed the valve cover and gaskets are all bad. i want to know can the valve cover gasket leak cause the white smoke to come from exhaust pipe?

Why does my infiniti fx35 2005 smoke when i start it up but after it heats it stopes

valve seals leaking oil into combustion chambers. Its a small leak that lets oil into the cylinder as it sits. It still leaks when your driving it at operating temp, but the leak is so small, its not noticeable. In a matter of a few hours tho, 4 little drops of oil will enter the cylinder, just enough to cause smoke. Drive on, no big deal unless it smokes under load, which means worn valves.

Have 2005 pt crusier 2.4 turbo

Its oil. Oil is leaking past the valve seals, letting oil seep into the combustion chambers when sitting. This is a pretty small leak that shows its ugly head when starting it up after it sits a bit. Keep driving it, not a major problem. Just keep an eye on your oil level.

Dodge durango is going thought alot of oil

it sounds like the valve seals have dried out and need replacing.sitting for 5 years and not really being driven they have probably dried out.a common indication of this is when you start the car after sitting for a while you get smoke out the exhaust and don`t see the smoke when you are driving even though its burning oil just at a smaller amount.the vacume of the cylinder on the power stroke is enough that if the valve seal is bad enough oil will be sucked past the seal and valve guide into the combustion chamber and pools a little on top of the piston.then on start up the oil burns off the piston and out the exhaust,as well as while driving each cylinder that a seal is bad the engine vacume draws oil the same way and its burnt, thus you won`t necessarily see the burnt oil coming out the exhaust.you won`t hear any noise from the motor.knowing you have this problem check the oil regularly until its fixed.also check for any other oil leaks from gaskets as sitting will dry out gaskets and you may see some gaskets that may need to be changed.

The car is not driving, blowing white smoke, and shaking very bad? So what should do

white smoke (alot) usually means water/antifreeze getting into firing chamber- head gasket(most likely) or a cracked head/block (less likely)- check oil dipstick- if oil is "milky" definite leak somewhere

Smoke comes from around engine

Probably a vavle cover gasket leak, small but enought to produce oil, in or on the surface of the motor doesnt take much to a lil smoke from aa hot engine...it could be collectiing in the canals ontop of the motor where the vlave covers sit on the head? or a head gasket problem....inspect it well after you run the car for a lil while, b4 it starts to smoke

White smoke out the exhaust

You will need to check head gasket. Please check the oil for coolant (milky deposition or presipitation). Also check if you loosing coolant and if coolant has oil in it.
