I have a 2002 ford expedition thats running at a very high idle. its running around 2000 rpm. it even trys pushes the truck when i m stopped i have to really press the breaks. i went to an auto zone the said its a bank 1 lean fuel issue. i tried looking at all the vacum line to see if there any leaks and i could not find any whats my next step
Hi Steve
it sounds to me like you have a sized IAC idle air control valve,
this causing the lean mixture and the idle problem.
you need to remove the IAC and clean it, after you fit it back do the following: ignition on for 15 sec, ignition off for 5 sec, ignition on for 15 sec, ignition off for 5 sec, ignition on for 5 sec, then start the engine
good luck
The maf sensor would be after the air filter if it has one.
A high idle could be a vac leak or a faulty idle air bypass valve.
Or the throttle plate may not be closing completely.
The vac leak could also be the intake gasket.
SOURCE: Bank 1 & 2 running lean
The lean condition is caused from the upper intake gaskets and isolation bolts not sealing properly due to time and poor sealing qualities from the factory ther was a service bulliten for this through ford to replace the gaskets, bolts, vaccum line, and lh side valve cover for this concern the oil was getting onto the rubber contaminating it causing a vaccum leak. If you never had the tsb done i would start there, also if there is high milleage on the vehicle i would also clean the maf sensor and resedt kam.
SOURCE: Diagnostic Codes p0171 bank 1, and p0174 bank 2 (too lean)
Those codes are for the oxygen sensors, lean fuel mixture on both banks. Change them, problem with stalling and rough idle should go away.

You most likely have a big vacuum leak. PCV hose split or a bad Idle Air Control motor (IAC)
Testimonial: "i will try that thanks."
