Message on dash 96 deville service traction control

Repair shop installed two rear air shocks purchased from junk yard. After instllallation message service traction control vehicle will not exceed 90 mph. What would cause this message to come up simply by installing two rear shocks ?

Check the brake fluid and make sure caliber is full of fluid. mine said that and it was because fluid was low.

Rear mounts that located above axle that bolt into frame. where can i purchase this part ,one for each side. also cost.

You can order that part from most auto parts stores, but you might be able to get it cheaper from a junk yard. There are internet listing services for used parts to shop junk yards nationwide.

Need new struts on rear, Would like to replace with air shocks. Any suggestions on how I would do this?

Shock Absorber -The rear already has air shocks on the 1999 Cadillac Deville: REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Rear
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Rear wheel Fig. 1: Exploded view of the rear shock absorber mounting 9300vg06.gif

    • Negative battery cable
    • Shock absorber electrical connector from the rear suspension support, If equipped
  3. Support the lower control arm with a jack to relieve the tension on the shock absorber.
  4. Remove or disconnect the following:
    • Lower shock absorber mounting bolt and nut
    • Upper mounting nut, retainer, and insulator
    • Shock absorber compress by hand and remove through the upper control arm
    To install:
  5. Position the top of the shock absorber with the insulator attached into the suspension support.
  6. Install or connect the following:
    • Upper shock insulator, retainer and nut. Torque the nut to 55 ft. lbs. (74 Nm).
    • Shock absorber lower mounting nut/bolt. Torque the nut to 75 ft. lbs. (102 Nm).
    • Shock absorber electrical connector to the rear suspension support, if equipped
    • Rear wheel
    • Negative battery cable

Rear Suspension on 1996 Cadillac Deville

you may want to buy regular heavy duty shocks and put on the car to raise the back up high enough to do what you are trying to do.

SERVICE DRIVER CONTROL ????????

I guess the right word is . Service ride control.
Service ride control. come because, Is there a computer for all the suspension and esteering.
Level sensor if the car use air suspension.
Or electronic shocks. any of those are giving the message.
You need to do a computer diagnostic. On a repair shop.
