1994 golf 4cyl. wont start after about a week of running rough

Prior to not starting at all it started to run rough the car is getting fuel.. the resistence to coil is low possible coil problem or what do you suggest to try first thanks....

It could be many different things. Check the vacuum lines. Check spark plugs. Check compression in engine, check fuel lines filter and injectors or carb. It's sounds like a misfire which can be caused by incorrect fuel, spark, or compression. And sometimes they run rough because vacuum pressure is incorrect or line is leaking. Have a vz v6 alloytec commodore wagon 2006 wife run out of fuel after putting some in it the car runs rough and takes a few times to start it the car run for a couple of weeks still with the starting...

It's always bad to let the fuel system dig into whatever lies at the bottom of the tank. You have fuel.. or something.. getting to the motor but I suspect that the carburation system has got some serious issues.
Not being inclined to mess with these, I would give call my favorite mechanic up and take it from there. If you are mechanically inclined, you might entertain getting a carb rebulid kit.
If this machine is fuel injected the injectors or some other part of the system may be clogged.

Toyota dx station wagon 4 cyl 16 valve. Has had a new fuel pump installed. Still soulds like it starves of fuel after it gets hot. then it wont start untill it completly cools off. Then it will start and...

spark plug leads or ignition coil or module.
start with the cheapest..leads.Car will be running fine till the ignition system heats up and then will start playing up.

1994 camry 4cyl. was running great. drove it to work and shut it off, then went to start it back up and it shut right off, wont idle. I can keep it running by keeping my foot on gas and its not running...

have your idle control switch check, easy and inexpensive to replace. The idle control switch is what keep the engine stay idle. also have your throttle body clean by a professional having that many miles, it will give you better gas mileage.

Runs rough, wont start at proper timing setting

usually when the camaro runs rough that could be bad fuel injectors-o2sensor and fuel filter-thats my guess i had the same problem and i put bad gas in and the fuel filter went bad
