2008 Nissan Versa - defrost not working. Blows through floor or panel when set to those, but when you switch to defrost, it stays on panel or floor, with nothing coming out of the defrost vents. No air ever comes out of front vents at bottom of windshield. I have to defrost with a towel.

A/C BLOWER SWITCH STAY ON HIGH AND BLOW ON FLOOR ON04 NISSAN MAXIMA

Are you saying the switch does not move, or the speed does not change ?
Could be the switch or the knob is broken. If the blower does not blow on any setting except high you need to check the resistor.
The vent problem could be the control on the panel or a blend door under the dash.

Defrost blows constantly? How do i fix it?

does it blow through the defrost vent only when you switch to vent/floor or does it blow through defrost and vent/floor? is it a switch that is just electric or a manual lever that you slide? the manual type will have that problem if the diverter or the linkage behind the lever(in the dash behind the panel......may be able to access underneath) becomes broken or disconnected so that the air is diverted to defrost regardless where you move it.if you can get to it, you will see what is broken or maybe a fastenerr fell off.

Stuck on defrost

Check for vacuum lines under the hood that are loose, off, or cracked. With the engine running, wiggle them around and listen for a hissing sound.

The A/C works (blows cold air), but only blows up on the windshield, no matter whether it is set to floor, panel or bilevel

Appears to be stuck in the defrost position and sounds like a possible vacuum leak to controls. Look on the firewall under the dashboard. Maybe you can see a vacuum diafhram with a small hose disconnecedt. Look on passenger side first.
If not, Chk to see if a vacuum hose going through the firewall from the engine compartment has come loose. good luck
