I have a 1994 Chevy Silverado 4x4 6.5 diesel. The 4x4 fuse keeps blowing and then my speed gauge and tac gauge went crazy and blew the gauge fuse. i have a 1994 6.5 turbo diesel and my gauges fuse keeps blowing, and now the truck wont start. it ran all day yesterday with the blown fuse but now it seems that its not getting fuel. it turns over fine but it will not fire. any advice???
Your 20 amp fuse will not blow if glowplug wire shorts. each plug draws 15 amps which is 120 amps total.I think there are in line fuses for them. Try to wring out where each output from the fuse goes, disconnect all and reconnect one at a time till it blows. That should point to your problem process of illumination! Good Luck!!

sounds like a mouse has got in and chewed the cables, their is no easy fix from what i can think of but check all the wires and connections in case water has got into it,or snow if your in alaska.its fifteen years old now so its possible that some insulation has broken down or a wiring loom has chaffed somewhere underneath
