Not sure how to do this - oil light came on when i was driving down the motor way, slowed down & it went off. Bought oil, not sure how to get it in the engine!
Pull the Hood Release handle,once the hood has popped up unlock the hood latch, after opening of the hood, set up the hood holding rod, look for a cap on the engine or near the engine, the cap can say, oil, motor oil, engine oil, motor, engine, 5w30, 10w30, or may have a picture of a oil can,open the oil filler cap, put a funnel into the oil filling hole and hold funnel with one hand and slowly pour the oil in after the cap of the motor bottle with other hand, then stop putting oil in to check the oil level on the oil level stick with a rag, then add more oil as needed, with engine off, after that clean the oil level stick with rag and repeat process until oil is at full mark on the oil level stick, put everything where it was, close the hood, sometimes needed to slam the hood to lock it and happy driving.

the black cap where it says mitsubishi diesel.
oil should be changed regularly and flushed out along with new filter, just keeping topping up is not good, change according to service manual

That's normal in most cases, depending how low it goes. 40 psi approx when driving, 20 psi approx when idling ?

i would start by cleaning out the throttle body. they collect soot and not have to be a lot either for it to mess up the idle speed, i had trhis on mine soon as i dipped the clutch to slow down the rpm dropped to about 400 to stall, i cleaned throttle body out ( taking air intake off and wipe round inside and the butterfly will be enough) and now it idles and the rpm dont drop below 900

this light indicate tha oil level is low in engine , make a service oil ,or check the level, this light have an sender in oil pan and could be dirty
