There is no carb. in modern cars, unless...
2005 Toyota Tazz 130
what country are you in, cabs ended in 2006 in far from USA countries.
so that you? in S.Africa or some small Island in the Pacific running JDM cars?
quote, this you?
A facelifted version of the sixth-generation five-door hatchback was made in South Africa as an entry-level model called the Toyota Tazz from 1996 until July 5, 2006. The Tazz was offered as 130, and 160i. It was also sold as a panel van called the Carri. [4]
end quote.

why not post photo of engine.
or get the FSM on this car, factory service manual, at Toyota.
it covers all THAT.
if not a carb, you cant tune it, like a carb , you fix it.

my first idea> give it a tuneup, new spark plugs, filters.

85 jeep cherokee 2.5l runs fine on level ground but the carb floods when I'm going up hills? Any solutions? Its been tuned up new plugs and wires and everything but why is it flooding?

Your carb is needing to be rebuilt the seals and float and valve seat may be damage. The float opens when the fuel level in the carb is low. If the valve seat is damaged or the float is not working. Gas can keep pouring into the carb resulting in extra fuel. Till the engine stops and fuel pump pressure stops pushing fuel it will keep pouring fuel and will not stop till rebuilt correcting the problems. Buy rebuild kit and rebuild it or try junkyard and replace it.

Got another question for ya i am getting no power when tuning my carb can anyone tell me why

tuning a carb is only getting the air/fuel mixture correct and has nothing to do with power. If you want more power consider bigger main jets, bigger carb , ignition timing, exhaust extractors

Smell gas going down hill in my suzuki samuri 1989

most cars this old , the CAT is missing rodded out or dead.
and all cars with no cat stink. all ! and lots of CO. (deadly)
tune it out doors.

the carb must be tuned to burn all the fuel.
and webers are the hardest to tune. (But run better than all, once tuned) the Harley CV carb is vastly more easy to tune. FYI.
we use a wide band oxy sensor tool to tune carb now 100x more easy.
the tool was $1200 but not $140
what engine is there, G13? (most now, are upgraded)
the G13 has a mech, distributor. and the advancing weights must work like new. (not stuck"rust")
the dizzy must advance fully or carb tuning is a head to wall slam.
if the dizzy fails, it will not burn all the fuel. and will stink bad.

So using a timing light check the full advance.
the sammi FSM is free.
here it is.

weber 101 tuning is beyond the scope of any post here.

How to adjust my toyota 4k carb installed in 2e engine?

probably the most hard question ever posted in faxya.

how to tune any carb.

google it and read for 1 full day..

endless story.

how id do it is different than you, or old school.

I have a wide band oxygen sensor i can put on any car.

and tune anything. (gas)

the jets need tuning.

here it the steps before

1: 100% clean every inch, (called "boiling out the carb") or kemdipped.

2: kitted, put in a carb kit, gaskets, and all the bits.

3: make sure choke works. turns off , on a hot engine, if not MPG WILL SUCK.

4: fuel pressure as spec. not 15psi,., better is 3.

5: float level to spec. (new carb)

6: tune it. (thats the long story.)

done many. and have cars in my barn that use carbs and motorcycles.

Ipulled out a318 with a2 barrell carb installed 383 4 barell I have the factory 5/16 fuel line and new factory pump on heavy acceloration from stop it tries to die then takes off and acelorates fine do I...

Sounds like the accelerator pump circuit in the carb is not squirting fuel in when you depress the accelerator. That is why you get the lag in acceleration before it decides to launch. When you open the carb you should get a steady stream of fuel from the accelerator pump. With the engine not running look down the carb throat and open the throttle blades and visually check to see that there is a stream of fuel when doing so. If not time to rebuild the carb, or just get another accelerator pump for
the carb.

Turns over won't start. hasn't run in over a year and has had problems idling while cold. thinking carb needs cleaning... thoughts?

check and clean carb, try a lil carb fluid in carb to fire, also check the usual things for a tune up: cap & rotor, wires , also if its sat for a year add some clean fuel, condensation in fuel tanks and lines will wreak havoc, and will clog even brand new fuel filters
