Sounds like water in the fuel lines.

There's Water in Your Fuel Line

Besides your vehicle's oil and car battery, the fuel line can also be an issue during winter. In theory, there should be no water in your fuel line from the start. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. When your fuel lines freeze no gasoline can get to the motor, meaning combustion is halted, which leads to your car not turning over.
Condensation from temperature fluctuations could leave water in your gas line or fuel tank, which causes further complications.
Using fuel with a low alcohol content or premium fuel is one solution. However, in many cases, it may be necessary to repair or replace your fuel lines entirely. You can buy a product that dries up the water in the gas tank when the car is warm from auto parts store. Use a lighter weight oil because your oil gets thicker when below freezing. Try a 5w weight oil.

Maybe a problem with the theft deterrant system. My Tahoe had a similar intermittant problem and the dealer said there was a fault in the theft system and it would shut off the fuel pump.

94 Yukon cranks but won't start on cold mornings.

I hope I can help you with your question I believe I can first and foremost if you're having trouble starting your car on cold mornings it's probably going to be a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump about to go out you're having symptoms as you described and then whenever you're at 55° things start to warm up and you can start your car okay the filter is so clogged up imagine that look looking like a blood vessel okay when you have a clog in it it doesn't allow the blood to flow freely feel the same way

have this car checked for the (TSB) technical service bulletin this will help you start the car in cold weather -- too try this before you start the car turn key to on position then back off 3 times each time you should hear a hum from the electric fuel pump-- and if it starts up better then the recall will help you
his recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with a 3.5L engine ("F" in the 8th VIN Position),Thanks, Lee Davidian

Starts when cold but once it is warm and is shut off it won't

Hi!
Looking at your brief description can I guess that when warm the starter turns slowly? as if a flat battery?
If this is so then the starter windings and armature are possibly cooked??
Have you recently tried cranking the engine too much? or with a poorly charged battery?
When cranking the starter gets very warm and if not left to cool after 5 seconds of cranking can cook the wiring/armature internals of starter.
When your engine is cold the Windings/armature are too so will turn easier, but when warm all internals are expanded so more drain and heat! then causing the starter to revolve slowly taking a lot of power from engine and ignition circuitry.
This can also be caused from trying to start a vehicle with low battery, Volts go down Amps go up cooking/frying the winding/armature.
I am suggesting this as all I have to go on from the description STARTS COLD BUT ONCE IT IS WARM???? I hope this helps,
If it does please remember to press FixYa button as I have taken a lot of time to post the response.
Good Luck!
