If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer,
or rely on mechanics and all. Plus I know a website that has very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime.

Try removing the battery for half an hour or so and then reconnecting (check you have all your radio codes etc before you do this).

P 0733 code what does that mean

You could be more specific with the issue:
  • Transmission type (Manual/Automatic)?
  • How did this issue appear?
  • Does the car change gears normally?
Your car seems to be an automatic transmission model?
So the fault code is "Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio"

This means that you may have:
  • Low transmission fluid level or dirty transmission fluid
  • Faulty or dirty shift solenoids
  • Transmission mechanical problems
  • Transmission hydraulic control circuit issue

Automatic transmission liquid leaking volvo s80 t6 model 99

The most common source of a leak would be the torque converter seal, replacement of the seal requires the removal of the transmission.

Transmission Service Required message

They are correct as to the Location of the Sensor and, It would be a Time Consuming and Expensive Repair But, If you are not getting the Red Caution Light I would have the Tranny Flushed and Filled and see if it is not Just Buildup on the Sensor. It could actually Release itself. If not you will eventually have to get a Rebuild Buut, Try the Flush and Fill First.
