Driver window I have a 2005 kia Sedona. the driver window quit working for the most part. We can hear the motor running it sounds like the passenger side motor but it does not go up with out tapping the window and to go down it has to forced down. It is driving me up the wall and really don't have the money to repair it

the motor is probably on the way out. Try replacing it and you should be fine.

Motor works but window doesn't move. Remove the interior door panel from the door and you should see the track the window travels in. The motor is normally at the base of the door. There should be a plastic track that pushes the window up and down that the motor actually moves to operate. On some models there is an actual metal gear and scissor type function. In these types of window systems it is possible for the gears to lose contact and when that happens the window stops operating.
