How do i remove a stuck cassette tape from a 1994 chevy truck player?

Does it make noise or move when you hit the eject button? If so, slide a butter knife under the exposed edge of the tape drive adaptor about an 1/8" and hit the eject button. Just a little upward pressure should help it release. It the eject button has no effect, you may need to pull the radio out, open the cover and manually turn the eject drive assembly.

2000 daewoo leganza had a tape stuck in radio now that i got tape out radio wont turn on

While you have the dashboard apart to try to repair the tape player, may I suggest just replacing the radio, I think it will be cheaper, and you will get a better sound system, that is more current, you can probably opt for an MP3 player with usb instead of cassette.

How do i get a piece of tape out of my disk player, it stuck in there from i disk i made. could i take out the panel some how and look at it from the top.

If you can see the tape, try using a piece of stiff wire with a strong tape (strapping tape or duct tape) fastened SECURELY to the end otf the wire. Get the sticky side of the tape at the end of the wire onto the sticky side of the tape inside the player; tape sticks to tape incredibly well. Gently pull the offending tape out of the player.

Cd stuck in the player

You can use another old CD and some very sticky tape (like duct tape).Take a peice of tape about 2 inches long.Fold it so it's half the lenth and sticky on both sides.Adhere it to the end of the old CD so its flat and will adhere to the other stuck CD.Slide the old CD w/the tape on it(aimed down) in the CD slot and while pressing the eject button and adhere it to the stuck CD and pull.It should stick to the other CD and dislodge it

Tape stuck in player - error code e13 shows

I just got a tape unstuck myself. Everytime I would hit eject it would make a clicking noise.

Here is what I did:
First I watched these videos to remove the radio.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29MTa4FLjtk&feature=channel

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqvk_PNo9Kg&feature=channel

Then I unscrewed the bottom panel of the radio.
Unscrew the brass screws holding in the cassette player portion of the radio.
Now flip the cassette player over to see your tape, etc.
When I pressed the eject button, I noticed a little motor with a worm gear would move a a gear which moved several other gears until it eventually moved a black gear which has a little post that moves the metal arm which moves back when pushing in a tape and moves forward when ejecting a tape. But I would get a clicking sound which seemed to be due to one gear trying to move a stuck gear.
I forgot the exact details of how I managed to get the tape out, but when I did get it out I noticed when I turned on the radio, it would act like it was trying to play a tape. But when it found out it couldn't, it would try to eject but would fail once again with the gear clicking sound.
I think I tried moving the black post on the black gear that moves the arm that pushes the tape out. Eventually I got to the point where the arm was pushed forward like it should be when a tape is ejected. At that point I was able to insert and eject a tape without any problems.

Have a cassette stuck in my 98 Buick Century Custom

sometime you can get luck by taking out the tape player and there will be a small hole somewhere on the player that you can stick a paper clip through to release the tape player. Otherwise gnetly stick a screwdriver under the tape to see if you can get it to release. no guarntees on that last one
