You would need an auto electrician or a transmission expert to connect a pro grade scan tool computer and diagnose if the switch or solenoid is faulty. A scan tool at this level is bi-directional and can command solenoids to operate and confirm that they do.

To may changes in those engines. The 06 won't work. Only way to make it work would be to pull the entire harness and computers out with it. Before you do that, make sure the transmissions are the same. If they are different. The 06 computer will not run the 03 transmission. I believe the years for the 03, are 2000 to 2003.

Sharp razor blade. You can buy them from an auto shop pack of 5 - 100 i think. Takes ages but you just scrap the tint off. I have asked a tint shop 1/2 way through ding this & they advised me that was the corect method.

This could be caused by a bad shock but it is more likely to be a broken sway bar link.Look from under the truck and you will see it near the out tie rods near the anti sway bar,this is fairly common on Dodges.

you have what is known as an open diff. or worn out clutch packs in a limited slip. most makers put in a open diff because its cheaper and handles better. if you did not pay for it on your invoice your stuck with stock unless you put it in your self.

Yes, it's normal. Make sure you only engage it in 4x4 for tight turns if u are driving in snow, off road, ice, etc. The wheels are trying to turn the same revolutions, and of course the wheels on the inside of the turn have a much shorter distance to rotate than the wheels on the outside, that's why u feel the 'fighting something' u describe. On snow ice sand, there is slippage of the tires possible, on dry pavement there isn't, so u can damage the system (blow it) if u use 4x4 on dry pavement, because something has to 'give', and if it's not the tires slipping on the ice, sand, snow, it might be your system that gives, and that ain't cheap! So only use 4 Lock when necessary.
