07 Kia Sportage 4x4 V6 Front windshield wipers stopped working.

If you look close to the wiper motor, you should find a 2 wire plug. Unplug it. Connect a 12 volt test light across the 2 wires.Turn on the rear wiper switch with the key on + if it lights up, you need a new motor. If it doesn't light up check your fuse and remove the one going to r.wiper. See it it's bad and replace as necessary. Garcuda

If the wipers are consistent in where they stop the problem may be due to the splined shaft of the drive motor has rotated within wiper linkage attachment. Remove motor/linkage assembly remove linkage from motor and check for stripped splines on the linkage/motor. Willie

does the wiper arms move free if so the linkage assembly has come apart you have to take the plastic part under the windshield off along with the wipers arms to have access to the linkagage ,if the arms ar hard to move possible motor damaged or fuse burnt do basic first check fuses then do the process of elimination ,motor ,linkage good luck

check you windsheild wiper fluid level sounds like your a bit low on fluid

since it is a 2007 car i would think that you would be able to take to dealership free of charge

check all the fuses and there are probly 1 burnt for your windsheild wipers :)

in most cases it is a Brake system warning light it is an indication of low brake fluid

the tires need to be the same size. did one tire get replaced .and what codes do you have.good luck.
