Have someone push & release pedal while at wheel with problem. See if it takes a while or slow to release. If yes, have wrench ready on bleeder screw, and try again, if it sticks/holds, crack bleeder screw, if it releases, I'd replace hose.

Try replacing the brake hose to that caliper, they collapse on the inside.

SOURCE: 1981 Silverado front driver side brake cant be bled.

Take the bleed screw out and clean it, it may be packed with dirt and plugged up. Keep trying to bleed till you get all the air out, and fluid has a steady stream out the bleed valve. If all else fails, rent or buy a pressure bleeding device that forces brake fluid into the lines

SOURCE: 1993 Chevy C1500 front right brake sticking.

change the brake hose. I had the same problem, and changed all the parts, caliper, brakes, repacked bearings, etc. then changed the brake hose. problem corrected.( reason being is the hose had over time collapsed on the inside, and being that the release of caliper is not pressure forced it wld'nt allow fluid to return thru the line.)

It's either brake fluid hose or caliper itself, see if caliper piston is easy to push back in, if yes, replace the hose, if not replace the caliper,

Just replaced brake pads on my 99 chevy p.u. seem to be fine when they are cold but feel like they are grabbing when they heat up. What could be the problem?

Hope you are talking about the front brakes,First check to see if the brakes are releasing the brake rotor. If they are not,it is posible the slide on the caliper need cleaning and lubed. Also could be the brake hoses colasping, and not allowing the piston in the brake calipers to release.Did you have the rotors turned? It could have something to do with it.Also what it probley is,that when you pushed the piston back in the caliper, you didn`t remove the master cylinder top off.Bleed the right front caliper, then the left front caliper, and then the master cylinder. This should clear it up.

Front brakes stay locked up

You may want to replace your flexible feed lines to the calipers. Any little bit of **** in them will not let the brake fluid out of the caliper,
