Shuts off while driving

I have a 1994 ninety-eight regency. Car will shut off while driving, sometimes it turns back on after I wait for a few minutes, other times it won't start again. I have replaced the gas tank, fuel filter and lines. Nothing seems to have done the trick. Something is cutting the power to the fuel pump and I can't figure it out.

The fuel pump gets power from the pump relay on startup, then from the oil pressure switch when the engine is running. You could try a jumper to the relay to bypass the pressure switch to confirm the problem. The design is to prevent a fire in a wreck.

Need to know oil type and capacity for a 1994 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight Regency Elite

10W30 will be fine for a car with under 100 K miles. I usually go up to 10W40 when driving in very hot temps or when my moter is getting a bit more worn. It takes 5 Qts. with a filter change. 4 Qts without.

Blower motor stays on even with key out 1994 olds ninety eight with climate control

You need a blower motor resistor. If you have automatic temp control be prepared to spend a few dollars getting one. They put the resistor under the fuse panel by the firewall.
