Here is the fuse box diagram, but the Elantra appears to have a rather funky battery fuse! Most vehicles have a main battery fuse but it is on the battery connector wire. If you put in a new ECM, was it programmed to the vehicle?
You have a short to ground. It is normally wiring in the harness that is subbed through somewhere on it journey to the items covered by the fuses. For all those, I would check behind the fuse box. Are you sure it is covering all those? And the fuse box diagram agrees that is multiple fuses :>)
New at autozone/napa relatively cheap mark any wires or hoses u remove also get Haynes book it will give step by step to insure a good result in taking apart and back together u got it that far apart also do new timing chain if u are at 100,000 miles or better it will save u headache later thoose are known for breaking and wiping out the valves and everything else when that high in miles good maintenance is always helpful that far tore apart why not be preventive and safe
After connecting battery, try using key in drivers door to lock, and /or unlock. Try passenger if that doesn't work, as well as valet key if it came with one.
you will need to replace the clock.the clock has (2) 12 volt power supplies fuse 25 and fuse 9 in the pass. compartment fuse block if these have power and are good check ground g11 located behind the radio.ok you will need to remove the instrument panel facia.thers (2) screws behind the ash tray and above the instrument cluster.be carefull somtime its difficult to pop off use a plastic pry bar to keep from bending the dash.the rest is easy.
