How change instrument panel light bulb in 2000 Saturn LS2?

The dash lights are on a different fuse and circuit from the tail lights.
If the lights in the instrument cluster work, the problem may be in the harness in the dash.

None of the brake lights work , the center high mount lights too ! I can't believe both tail lamp assembly's going bad at the same time ! Wrench light on means codes are stored in the BCM , did your Mechanic check codes .

it can be hell these days--need proper tools--1st blow out any dirt in the plug areas cause when u remove a plug dirt can fall in eat the engine alive--plugs today last years--instead inspec plug wires they get burnt tho they dont lookit

Its not a quick job. You need to remove the instrument panel. Once removed the bulbs simple twice a quarter turn and you can replace them. removing the instrument panel varies on different cars, often you can do it without removing the steering wheel. You would normally take off the plastic under the steering wheel. lower the steering wheel as far as it will go. there should then be screws holding in the plastic around the instrument panel.

A saturn is not like other cars you have to remove the outside door panel to get inside the door it has screws holding it on

Your heater core is in need of replacement.

U will need to pull the instrument cluster out to replace these bulbs, no access from the back.
