The 2/3 shift solenoid is most likely shot not an easy job its inside the valve body agood tranny shop should easily diagnose this

It is a transaxle with ten years on it,some don't last
a long time,can't go by mileage & if the fluid was never

this one is pretty labor envolved. you need to remove the front bumper to remove the head light to replace bulb. not really for a novice person or someone who doesnt work on cars. good luck.
