Slim jim did not work in opening the veh.

Any chance u got a manual to refer to since it looks something that happens not very often.. like get reference books from reliable-store.com . I'm kinda sure that's all u need..

Slim Jim will not work on that car. You need a tool that will lift the lock button on the door. The one I have is a pc of plastic strip with dental floss attached and it works great on that car

A 'Slim Jim' will rarely work on cars newer than 1980 or so. You need to gently pry the car door open and insert a devise that pumps air into a small balloon like container that is place between the door and the body of the car. This will open a gap where you can either unlock the car or try to retrieve the keys with a hook-like devise such as a wire hanger.

This device is common piece of equipment that tow trucks carry with them so I would suggest you let them do it because the price of the device is far greater than a "lock out" call to a towing company.

it depends if your door has the antitheft plate,most cars have them now,its just a small metal plate inside the door to stop a slim Jim,if you door has a lock pin you can hook with banding that's the way to get in,but you will need a wedge to open the top of the door just a few mm then take the banding fold it in half and push it in the gap then slide one half forward to open the banding hook the lock pin then close the banding and pop the lock ok.

A lot of newer cars can't be opened with a slim jim anymore. A good kit uses a small bag that inflates with air to allow a long rod to unlock (electric door locks) These work much better.

Sometimes the Police will use a "Slim-Jim" and help a Citizen. Or call a Locksmith especially if you have Road Service or Autoclub.

use slim jim. work it close to where you put the key to unluck it.

ok well first off do you know anyone that has a truck close to the same year if so try using there key it should work to open your door and on how to use a slim jim depends on if you have power locks or not if so it's a bit harder than if you don't but you put it between the window and the rubber seal and slip it under the door locking bar ether up and forword or back if its a manual lock and if not you haft to move the slim about 2 to 5 inches from the lock and do the same good luck
