Went to the library, came out 1 1/2 hrs. later, 2005 Nissan Altima was completely dead for no reason. No warning or anything. Tried jumping the battery, nothing! Key stuck in the ignition and will not come out. HELP!
My 2004 kia optima will not start and i jumpstarted it lastnite and it cranked rite on up while driving down the highway it shut off and will not start back up even with a jumpstart
It is most likely the alternator.the alternator charges your battery.make sure no auxillery power is on while trying to jump(ac/radio/lights,etc)get the alt and battery tested at auto zone or advanced auto completely FREE
Always clean the battery terminals before jumping. An extremely dead battery may not accept a jump as it serves as a 'buffer" instead of helping. If you do get it started, charge battery with a battery charger then have alternator and battery tested for proper operation and check belt condition and tension as well.
