After boosting the car with the WRONG ends, the main fuse (100A) was blown no light on the instrument panel. Smelled something burnt inside the car, the coil & igniter were hot. The fuse has been replaced but the car won't start (engine is cranking). there is no spark on the sparkplug. What could be the problem and how to do jump wire on the diagnostic box to get the faulty code? my wife broke off gear handle, metal pin inside is broke, when i went out to look at it the door was locked and wouldnt unlock from the door button, did it a couple of times and the alarm sounded,so i popped to hood and disconected the battery. anyways the only way i could connect the batery cable is with the key in. so got in and now it wont start, any ideas?

Possibly fried the computer. Only fix is to replace it.

Wish I could help, but this is a major electrical repair job and the engine may never run again... I have never heard of anyone repairing a "modern" computerized engine after reversing polarity on the battery cables -- guess it's possible...
how does one do such a, well u know.
