Location of dropping resistor on 2005 nissan sentra

Blower motor resistor is bad common issue with sentras, best to have a qualified Nissan tech replace it, due to the location of resistor

Sometime NIssan car is all about the distributor... Check it out first before making other decission.

Do you have a CVT? (Continuosly Variable Transmission) I doubt that you do so if you dont, nissans are known to have hard shift into second gear you mean.(Once the car moves, its already in first gear) so if it shifts fine into other gears, I wouldnt worry too much unless it gets worse.

drain and fill trans with fresh fluid
trans may have to be rebuilt
