Air shocks or air bag suspension? Shocks can be replaced with a "coil-over" shock like those made by monroe. To replace spring/air bag system, you would need to experiment with spring combination's to find what works...likely more expensive than changing what's wrong with original stuff.

Lincoln towncar 1999 not starting ive already replaced fuel filter, i have fuel pressure. maybe something wrong with antitheft ? i dont know its driving me crazy please help!!!!

This has become a pretty common problem with the mid to late nineties lincolns. I had the same problem. What I found out from research and trial and error is your battery may be weak. So try replacing your battery. also try resetting your Inertia shut off switch located in the trunk on the drivers side front panel.

mcdevito75 here, Could be one of the air lines leaking, a bad spring or shock or the level sensor not working. Your local shop should have a look.

Lincoln Towncar 1999 turns over great. Has a new

check the spark plugs to see if they are getting any spark-pull one of the plugs, reconnect the wire, and hold near something metal on the car while someone turns the engine over-if no spark-it's electrical-maybe just the plugs-maybe something more serious

I would like to bypass the air compressor and manual inflate the air ride so that it stays up.how do i do that Dennis

you would have to unplug compressor and remove airline and tie in a valve like one off of airshocks.
it is usually the air springs that rot and start leaking. so you will probably still leak down. you can replace with coil springs and do away with air ride your continental has airride front and rear?

this would do away with system all together
