SOURCE: noise under hood sounds like phone ringing

The ringing noise could the heat shield to the spark plugs. As for the other problem, it sounds like it's time for a summer tune up. Spark plug and  wire, air and fuel filter. Good luck and and don't for get the oil change too.

SOURCE: 05 sunfire electric window goes down but won't go back up

Should test the swith first with a test light at the connector to the motor. If that is fine then check the regulator any bent parts can cause this to happen. If there are no bent parts try jumping the motor to see if the window goes up and down. If it still won't go up then the easiest solution is to change out the regulator and motor at the same time, if done seperately it is hard.

SOURCE: rear suspension left side makes a knocking sound while driving

There are a few suspension parts that can cause knocking noises. Such as swar bar loose, strut mounts going bad. You should really have a shop do a complete suspension check.

Check to see if the muffler has fallen down off the rubber mounts. IN any case I would put it on a tilt tray and have it delivered to a reputable repairer as it will reduce the chances of further damage.

Having a steady growl once in motion, sounds louder on the passenger side. Manual transmission - no problems (yet) with day to day running down the road. Just noise - getting louder.

hello when you are driving down the road and its making the noise slightly turn left and right if the noise changes then replace the wheel bearing if not check the axle

Winding down noise when stopping and big jolt when I do!

Dear Sweetallday5,
Without seeing the car, and being able to hear and look at it underneath, anything we can do is guess.
Now, here is a really good guess.
Do not drive the can one more mile, not even to a repair shop.
Have it towed.
Otherwise, you stand the risk of having it quit on you in the middle of the street, or even wreck whilst you are driving it.
As far as being worth it to fix, only an honest mechanic can tell you that.
God bless your efforts.
