SOURCE: i have a extra piece when i put the ignition switch back together

It may be difficult to find parts to fix this quickly. You can remove the lock plate and replace it with a similar thickness flat washer, then jump the neutral safety switch, replacing it with a push button. Of course it will start in any gear if set up this way, but the buton must be depressed when starting, to remind you to put it in "park" first! Still not as safe as the factory setup but it will get you going!

SOURCE: want to see diagram onputting steering colum of

come on this thing is so simple its untrue, why didnt you just cut the old lock off and put a new one on.As for the bearings just stick them back in with grease ,you should be able to get some at the bike shop ,but the bearing paths could be worn so if you can get a slighter bigger ball ?refitting is the reverse procedure to taking it apart

How do I remove front rotor from 2000 montero

They are bolted on. Remove the bolts. You need the correct size wrench of which there are many types, generally the larger the better. The bolts can be stubborn, there are products that will help loosen them. Try a car parts store in your neighborhood. The bolts turn counter clockwise. The bolts need to be retightened to specifications when you put it back together.

Replaced u joints on 1989 Montero rear drive shaft. Now drive shaft has vibration which peaks around 65 mph. Think I reassembled wrong or bad part(s)? Used Precision not OEM Mitsubishi u joints.

When you took it apart did you "match mark" the joints so that it went back together the same? If not then your driveshaft is probably out of balance. Any driveline shop can correct this. By match marking I mean that you make a mark on each piece of the driveshaft so that when you put it back together the pieces are in the same position relative to each other. If one piece got put back 180 degrees out, it can cause the whole shaft to become unbalanced.

1999 Montero Sport with no power

If you have nothing as in no power anywhere, you have a bad battery connection either at the battery itself or where the cables go, look at the body ground and where the positive cable terminates.
