Wont start security theft light on

What year is it ? Does the security light flash when try to start ? Anti - theft system will not allow engine to crank .

you more then likely have an anti theft device, trying putting a flasher on either left or right and try, due all the dash gauges light up when you put the key to the on position? you can try unplugging battery and replugging it, ensure you have the radio code for stock radio before doing so.

The problem may not be with anti-theft but with a bad fuel pump,cam/crank sensor etc. Also, you may try unlocking the drivers door with the key. On most cars that is the standard method for disabling the security system.

This is 'nornal': when you loose battery power or remove the car battery, the anti-theft funtion of your radio system will be enabled: you need to consult your specific car (radio) user manual to enter the radio security code which is normally a 4 digit code (originally provided when with new car manual or the radio if it is an aftermarket radio). The original car dealer may also have the radio security code.

1st of all Read Your owners Manual, Depending on the Radio you have in it will depend on the Alarm system . Also Completely Disconnecting the Battery Will Reset your Security System

Try starting it with the shifter in neutral. You might have a bad
Neutral safety switch.

Anti Theft System - inmobilizer is actovated. Need disarm to start engine. Have you another key and fob? Try lock/unlock cycle with new key + fob. Your key may be corrupted.

Try also just unlocking the car with the key (not the fob) as soon as you unlock the door put the key in the ignition immediately and see if the car starts.

If you have your radio code it may be worth trying a total reset (leave the car unlocked) disconnect the battery and leave for 20 mins. then reconnect.

YOUR RAIDO HAS A CODE # TO PREVENT THEFT, YOUR DEALER CAN GIVE YOU THE CODE. WHEN YOU REMOVED BATTERY RAIDO THEFT CODE WAS SET OFF IN RAIDO.

thats because its a key code security device once you disconnect its power source the radio will automatically lock itself to prevent theft but you can take it to a shop that sells radios and they can reset it for you but its impossible to diy because you need a computer to programme the microchip so take it to a shop m8 otherwise it wont work mine did the same hope i helped :)

the radio that come with car is program to pcm .if remove or put in another radio. pcm security mode kick in.it dont recognize radio it think theft so it disable car ignition so you cant start.if you get a radio the dealership has to put them in and program it.
