WHEN TURNING A CORNER MY CAR CUTS OFF, WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?

are you sure the gauge is accurate? next time you get fuel fill it up and check how many gallons it takes from half to full, cutting out on left turns happens when the gas in the tank moves away from the fuel pump screen, that only happens if you are near reserve.

Did you check the trunk are for the emergency fuel cut-off. It may have tripped. Usually under the carpeting in left hand corner. At least that is typical of our previous Cougar.

your fuel gauge may be reading inncorect so you may be real low on fuel which explain why it try to cut off around corners or you have an idle air valve problem have thecodes scanned to see what the malifunction is

I cannot think of anything solid state that would malfunction when just turning a corner. However, the automatic idle speed motor may be malfunctioning. crank sensor plugs and wires or coil packs not the module probably

im having the problem with the same thing.. alot of people are cutting key to on postition for 15 minutes .. cutting switch off then it will crank but im not that lucky...

could be wiring that shifts loose. is it only under hard cornering? i had a problem with a vw that made a buzzing sound everytime i cornered hard. it turned out that my oil pump wasnt picking up enough oil under cornering becuase a piece of plastic int he sump was missing.

sounds like you have a lose or bad body ground

Locate the MAS sensor right next to the air filter box remove it and clean it very careful, check for any damage.
