2012 srx heating system smells like fish when first starting the vehicle

Clean the throttle body and mass air flow sensor. Get it on a pro grade scan tool and check for codes or computer communication issues between modules and sensors.

You can't , if it were as easy as that why have it . You need to call a mobile lock-smith to cut you a new key and program it to the vehicle. Or have it towed to a cadillac dealer,as simple as that.

The entire chassis is grounded.

Make sure radiator is full of coolant, this system heats the vehicle, also if you can smell coolant it may be a bad or leaking heater core? Hope this helps?

Burnt smell after starting 2013 Chevrolet Equinox. Turned key starter turned over slowly then started drove car however strong electrical burning smell after starting pulled over seen smoke coming from under vehicle. Car wouldn't start even with a jump starter just clicking sound then nothing while horrible smell of burnt electrical from under the hood. Towed it home it just clicked once. Lights, horn, flashers dash and power locks all working fine never had any problems. Thoughts starter or ??

Its a hot start issue.

Can be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor.

Also it can be weak battery or starter.

But possibilities are to be inspected to confirm what exactly it is.------

Probably a Bluetooth compatibility problem. Just because they paired doesn't mean the drivers in both devices are currently compatible (one of them may have been updated without you knowing). You will have to dig deeper and determine what the current Bluetooth versions are on each and then check compatibility.

definately sounds like you have a bad heater core, the heater core is the only way for you to get the antifreeze smell inside the vehicle. It may not be totally bad, or pluged right now, but it wont be long. if you put a new one in it, it will fix your problem. hope this helps you God Bless!!
