1995 Honda Civic won't start

When turning the key into the "on" position" no instrument panel indicator lights come on. However I can jiggle the key a little bit and the instrument lights do come on. When I try to crank, I can hear the fuel pump initializing and it seems as though the starter is engaging too. The RPM's go up for about a second but then nosedive and the car wont' crank (or stay cranked). Does this sound like a ignition switch problem? Key interlock problem?

How to reset the maintenece light on Honda accord 2007

1. Depress and hold the select/reset button on the right of the instrument panel beneath the odometer reading.
2.Insert the ignition key into the ignition to hold the select/reset button.
3.Turn the ignition key to the power accessory position. This will illuminate all the lights on the instrument panel without the engine running.
4.Continue the select/reset button until the maintenance required light goes out.On some year models. the light may blink once before going out.

Key stuck in ignition of 1995 honda civic dx and stuck in acc mode

try moving the steering wheel lock to lock progressively harder, not trying to break it, and alot of the time that will help jiggle and release it.

I have a 2001 Honda Civic that did not pass emissions test. My

A. DTC P1705: Short in Transmission Range Switch (TRS) Circuit. The TRS lights the A/T gear position indicator in the instrument panel shows which gear has been selected.

The PCM also uses this information in order to manage the fuel system for maximum efficiency. The most obvious symptom you will see is the A/T gear position indicator lights will not come on or come on in the wrong position.

Once this is repaired emissions should pass

I am looking for a fuse box diagram for a 1995 Honda Prelude.

The manual indicates Fuse 11 (10A) interior fuse box, INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS.
Also, the is a dimmer for them:
The dial on the dashboard to the left of the instrument panel controls the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Turn the dial to adjust the brightness.
To reduce glare at night, the fuel and temperature gauges dim when you turn on the parking lights or headlights. You then adjust their brightness when you adjust the instrument panel brightness. Turn the dial up as far as it will go to return the fuel and temperature gauges to their daytime brightness.
You can try the following URL for a copy of your manual (which includes fuse box diagrams). You won't be able to save the whole thing (except by sections), but you can print copies of whatever sections are important to you. You'll need Adobe reader (free from Adobe) to read the manual.

Hope this helps you.
