Volvo IGO sensus nav system doesn't say street names anymore says turn at next junction

If the sat nav is not responding to touch on the touch screen of your Peugeot 207 Sportium, there are a few things you can try: Check if the screen is clean: Sometimes, the touch screen may not work if there is dirt or debris on it. Use a clean and soft cloth to wipe the screen. Restart the system: Try restarting the sat nav system by turning off the car and turning it back on again. Check the settings: Check if the touch screen settings are correct. In some cases, the touch screen may be turned off in the settings, so make sure it is turned on. Update the software: If the sat nav software is outdated, it may not work properly. Check for any available updates and install them. If none of these steps work, it may be a hardware issue and you may need to take the car to a mechanic or Peugeot dealer to diagnose and fix the problem.

If your Volvo is Not one of the 2013 models with the SENSUS product
save your money and get a cheap Garmin.. for around !75. The Volvo product on the dash is confusing as H... and takes too much fidgeting to use it, plus you CANNOT access it when vehicle is in motion. Car must be pulled over to side of road to use it.. (must be a European design) . For my time and money the only reason we got the NAV in our XC60 is because you must elect it to get the backup camera option. In the early days of backup cameras that was your only choice. Now you can get one on the corner for less then 1/3 rd the dealer price retrofit) . In the newer Volvo's with Sensus and NAV being integrated by APPLE I would get the OEM product.

what year is it. if it has the new sensus system there is a software upgrade that your Volvo dealer need to perform

  Turn the ignition switch to "ON" or "ACC."

  Press the "NAV" button on the center console, and tap "Accept" to open the navigation menu.
  

  
  

• 3 Tap "Destination Entry."
  

• 4 Tap "Street Address" to input a destination. If you would like to choose a point of interest, tap the "Point of Interest" option.
• 5 Tape the option to "Input Street Name In." If the current state or country is not correct, tap the "State" or "Country" button to change it.
• 6 Type the street name, then tap "List" to choose your street.
• 7 Input the house number for the address, and tap "Continue."
• 8 Input your city name, and tap "Continue." The navigation system will calculate the route and display a map.

  Tap "Go" to activate route guidance. The system will give you turn-by-turn directions to your selected destination.

Check Fuse 2.3 (20 Amp). See electrical diagram below.

When it goes, it'll take out the audio and "Cluster and Panel Illumination."
(assuming your vehicle doesn't have an OEM Nav system - in which case fuse 2.3 would
supply power to the Nav system).

Fuse 2.3 is located in the CJB (Central Junction Box) - not the BJB (Battery Junction Box),
nor the AJB (Auxiliary Junction Box).

Also, check fuses F1.6 (60 Amp), and fuse F1.62 (30 Amp) in BJB (Battery Junction Box).
Also, check fuse F2.17 (15 Amp) and the "Accessory Delay Relay," both in the CJB (Central
Junction Box).





Here's the electrical diagram for 2005 Mercury Mountaineer Power Windows:
Note how fuses F1.6, F1.62, F2.17, and 'Accessory Delay Relay" will all
disable the power windows.

i have the same problem with my 2003 volvo, did u fix it?

Installing the DVD Map Disc Your dealer/retailer may have installed the map DVD. If the map DVD was not installed, do the following to load it:
Read the following steps completely.

1. Turn the ignition on. The vehicle must be in P (Park) to perform this operation.
2. Press (power) to turn the navigation system on.
3. Press the NAV hard key.
4. Touch the Insert Map Disc screen button. The screen opens to access the map DVD slot.
5. Load the map DVD partway into the slot. The system pulls it in. The screen cannot be closed until a double beep is heard.
   Notice: Pressing directly on the navigation screen may cause damage. Repairs would not be covered by the vehicle's warranty. Do not press directly on the navigation screen.
   
6. To close the screen, slightly push up on the two outer corners until the screen is in position. Then push the screen in by pushing on the four outer corners until a click is heard.
7. Set the search area. See "Setting the Search Area" earlier in this section.

Ejecting the DVD Map Disc The navigation portion of the system cannot be used if the DVD map disc is not loaded.

1. Press the MENU key to enter the Menu options, then press the MENU key repeatedly until Nav is selected or touch the Nav screen button.
2. Touch the Map Database Information screen button.
3. Touch the Eject Map Disc screen button. The screen tilts, exposing the map DVD slot.
4. Press the eject button, located next to the DVD map disc slot, and the disc ejects. Pull the disc out. The screen cannot be closed until a double beep is heard.
   Notice: Pressing directly on the navigation screen may cause damage. Repairs would not be covered by the vehicle's warranty. Do not press directly on the navigation screen.
